Moving Image

I've also had a module called Moving Image in which we had to pick a brand from Urban Outfitters, research it and create a fashion film for this brand and a concept store layout. I chose the brand Shell Belle and through researching I found it was all hand made delicately crafted underwear.

I also delved into other research for instance it also reminded me of the Marie Antoinette film with all the frills and pastel colours.

This then took me to The Palace of Versailles as that is where Marie Antoinette lived and was filmed. The decorative walls and ceilings, hall of mirrors and Queens Bedchamber i thought portrayed the luxury of the brand.

So at the end of all this i came up with the idea of doing a stop motion film to create a hand made mood and film it in a bedroom with mirrors. This is my final film.

Tester Shots for Still Life

Heres a few of the shots that didn't make the cut but thought where still interesting...

Still Life

I've had a bit of a busy semester so far so I thought I best show you what I've been doing.
Firstly there's my Photography Still Life module where we had to use our own accessories to create still life photos which could also be used as advertising. the brief was to take 4 personal shots from around your home of random still life's you find, 4 studio shots inspired by 4 different photographers using 16 accessories and then 16 location shots with 4 of the same accessories inspired by the same photographers. So here's my final ones.
